So I celebrated my 29th Birthday this month and above all my awesome birthday gifts I got myself the awesomenessest of them all, Glossybox. A flipping awesome range put together for this month, it was ♥ at first sight tucking into my box. So here's my review listed in top favourite order...
Dr Brandt Detoxygen - OMGEEeee! This is The Coolest facial I've ever experienced. It's a 2 step system that maximizes oxygen transportation into skin cells, neutralizes toxic effects, detoxifies skin cells, revitalizes and re-energizes lackluster skin for a fresh luminous look and protects against skin hazards. Step 1 you apply a thin layer layer to damp skin and leave on for 3-5 min. This is when the product starts bubbling on your skin working its magic. I was caught off guard by the tingling sensation and just stood in front of the mirror watching my face bubble up. After rinsing it off with warm water, it left my skin silky smooth (Zohan voice). Step 2 you apply a thin layer of the Detoxifying Creme Concetree completing the detoxification experience. If ever I have R850.00 to spare, I'll purchase this baby in a blink. L'occitane Aromachology Repairing Hair Mask - ♥ this Amazing hair mask. I'm always on the hunt for hair products that works to repair colour treated hair and add shine. My goal is to have healthy long nourished curly hair but somehow I mess it up. Now this is something I need in my life, made with natural vegetable complex of 5 essential oils and sunflower and wheat oils. It smells amazing, applied to clean damp hair and gets to working in just 10min, leaving me with healthy shiny hair and for just R365.00 for a 250ml.
Chloe Love - I always struggle to review perfume. You have to be a perfume guru to buy a perfume based on its review only. At least I think so. I can tell you its notes consists of Orange Blossom, Pink Pepper, Iris, Lilac, Hyacinth, Wisteria Blossom, Powdery Musks, Talc and Rice Powder . I think the Powdery musks is what doesn't do it for me. Overall its nice but not something I'd rush out to buy.
Anesi Objectif Minceur Creme Lipoaminocel - I ♥ Anesi products and here we have a thermal-active cream to reduce cellulite; formulated with Caffeine liposomes, Guarana and L-Carnitine and Ivy extracts. As far as I know I dont have any (visible) cellulite. But it says this product will stop cellulite from developing and sculpt the body contour. So im gonna give this a try on my bum cheeks just before bikini season.
L'occitane Immortelle Eye Balm - My never ending search for an eye cream. So excited to see an eye product in this months box, I tested it out immediately only to wake up the next day looking like someone that cried themself to sleep. Lying in bed my eyes started tearing away already. Guess I was emotional too because its another fail for me with an eye cream :'( and so the search continues...
