My 1st Glossybox Review

I freaking love Youtube.
I log into my Youtube account before I even check my mail. I'v laughed with Youtube, cried, sang along to, learnt from, inspired to get my own video camera to document the beautiful life of my nephew Mason. Check out my Youtube channel

Youtube introduced me to Glossybox.
Having a blue belt in Makeup I was intrigued by the world of beauty guru’s across the globe. I ooooh’d and aaaaaah’d over every makeup tutorial with my favourite guru’s. This is how I discovered Glossybox, Heaven in a box, a monthly subscription of 4-5 beauty samples for just $12.95 a month. I watched with jealous eyes as it was only available in the UK and Australia (that I was aware of).

Then by chance I googled Glossybox SA and to my complete astonishment I uncovered Glossybox South Africa 2012 coming soon. I subscribed to their newsletter immediately to be notified as soon as it launched. I just had to be amongst the first. In the meantime I registered to their website and entered my personal beauty profile. The beauty of Glossybox is that each box is catered to your uniqueness. All this for just R130.00 VAT and Delivery included.

My 1st Glossybox
The packaging is so pretty and just excites you more for what lies within it. Tucked inside is a welcome card with a brief description of each product with its full size pricelist. Beneath it I uncovered my new babies:
  • Carita - Ideal Douceur Cotton Mask : This goes on like butter on warm toast. It smooths on ultra soft. After 5 minutes you remove the excess off with a cotton pad. My skin was smooth to the touch and healthy looking. Its a real glamorous moment when I'm telling myself I just put on a R490 mask on my face and I loved it.
  • Nesti Dante - Citrus and Bergamot Luxury Soap : I haven't used it yet but  it smells amazingly delicious, I wouldn't expect anything less from Nesti Danti. I'm saving this for my Winter bath tub sessions.
  • L'occitane - Shea Butter Hand Cream : I love a heavy duty stiff hand cream without the greasy feel and this lives up to my standards. My hands were soft, moisturized and the great thing its inexpensive.
  • Beaute Pacifique - Metamorphique Creme : As prescribed i used this as a night cream every 2nd night to allow my skin to adjust to the ingredients. Come morning my skin was radiantly healthy looking and took away some of the redness on my cheeks. I loved smacking that R900 worth creme on my face.
  • A R650 Skin Consultation Voucher : This I so kindly gave to my best friend.
  • A Gel Mask : I'm saving this for my next hangover. According to Glossybox blog you can use this warm or cold to relieve puffy tired eyes and headaches.
  • A Compact Mirror : A girls "other" best friend. A sweet essential extra gift from Glossybox.

P.S. Can't wait for my next Glossybox
I love you Glossybox
